MorePeople is seeking a Specifications Technologist in Coventry to join a small, close-knit team of 38 people. You will work with European-led brands in a supportive environment that values your contribution and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This Coventry site wants you to radiate your personality in a positively driven team and enables you to work with many innovative European-led brands in a supported, close-knit company of 38 people.

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

• You'll work alongside another Specification technologist and a technical focussed team, that collaborates on ideas and recognises the importance of teamwork to see each other succeed as individuals and as a collective.
• You'll complete all online specifications for retail customers and be able to develop specialist knowledge for a range of portals
• Create, review and approve finished artwork for the business and product specifications, so it's your process from start to finish

What you'll need

• You'll have previous experience as a Specifications Technologist with practical knowledge and confidence of 'some or all' retailer specification systems

• A degree or HND in Food Science or related discipline, with an understanding of food safety and ingredient use.

• You'll have excellent attention to detail, including the many different lines of goods and data handling, such as data management and proficiency in specification systems. Coupled with IT skills.
• A very positive attitude that radiates energy within the office; they want people who add value to the culture and environment.
• Ability to problem-solve whilst working in a fast-paced environment. Food manufacturing is always developing; there's always a new line of products, another audit taking place and all the risks that go along with the legalisation of the materials themselves.

Where you'll be doing it

A well-established food business, that sources and develops private and owned label brands world-wide. Specialising in premium baked goods, such as biscuits, cheese twists and cinnamon rolls. With only 38 team members and still looking to grow, you will no longer feel like just a number with this company but feel recognised and motivated to create successes for them.
