Qualifications

  • Proven experience in specification sales, ideally within secure or mental health environments.

  • Familiarity with MoJ, NHS or other public sector procurement frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product specification into projects within custodial and secure healthcare.
  • Build and nurture relationships with Contractors, Architects, Consultants, and End-users.
  • Present technical solutions for safety and security requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
  • Track and manage pipeline opportunities using CRM tools.
  • Deliver CPD presentations and represent our client at industry events.

Job Description

  • Drive product specification into new-build and refurbishment projects within custodial and secure healthcare sectors
  • Build and nurture relationships with Contractors, Architects, Consultants, and End-users across the UK
  • Present technical solutions that meet complex safety, anti-ligature, and security requirements
  • Collaborate with internal technical, design and project teams to ensure client needs are met
  • Track and manage pipeline opportunities using CRM tools
  • Deliver CPD presentations and represent our client at industry events and trade shows

The Successful Applicant

A successful Specification Sales Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in specification sales, ideally within secure or mental health environments
  • Strong understanding of the construction process, including working with specifiers, architects, and Tier 1 contractors
  • Familiarity with MoJ, NHS or other public sector procurement frameworks is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, target-driven and highly organised
  • Willing to travel nationally as required
