Job Description

Role: Specification Sales Manager Heating & Ventilation

Industry Sector includes: Social Housing, Building Services, Showering, Panel Heaters, Water Heating, Ventilation, Renewable products, HVAC, Electric Heating, and more.

Coverage Area: South Central (DT, BH, SO, PO, SP, BA, SN & RG)

Remuneration: £55,500-£65,000 Neg. + 20% Bonus

Benefits: Fully expensed hybrid car or £450/month car allowance + full benefits package

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Field sales of heating, ventilation, and renewables products.
  2. Target social landlords, housing associations, and local authorities.
  3. Manage the full sales process from specification to distribution.
  4. Focus 70% of efforts on social housing, 15% on housebuilders/developers, 15% on distribution relationships.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  6. Work on projects from £50,000 to £500,000, aiming for £1.5m in year one, £2.5m in year two.
  7. Engage in CPD presentations (~2-4/month).

  • Proven track record in social housing specification sales.
  • Knowledge of social housing frameworks and regulations.
  • Technical understanding of heating, electrical, or ventilation products.
  • High energy, team player, strong negotiation skills.
