Field sales role - London area

Are you passionate about smart, sustainable technologies that enhance wellbeing? Do you thrive in a role that values autonomy, innovation, and meaningful customer relationships?

Join our growing UK sales team as a Specification Sales Manager and help us shape the future of intelligent lighting solutions. You'll work at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, promoting our advanced lighting control systems to key stakeholders across London and the South.

About Us

We're a Nordic-rooted, family-owned company with over 100 years of experience in intelligent, energy-efficient lighting solutions. With offices in Finland, the UK, and Sweden—and a global reach through partners in 50+ countries—we design smart, future-proof environments in sectors ranging from healthcare and education to commercial real estate and transportation.

We’ve lit everything from hospitals and workplaces to cruise ships and one of the world’s largest airports.

What You’ll Do

As Specification Sales Manager, you'll be the face of our lighting intelligence business unit in London and the South, driving projects from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow relationships with lighting designers, consultants, M&E engineers, investors, contractors, and tenants.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, targeting untapped markets such as real estate owners.
  • Promote our lighting control solutions through consultative selling and CPD-accredited seminars.
  • Track projects from specification through to order, collaborating with all key stakeholders.
  • Use CRM tools to manage your pipeline, plan visits, log activity, and report progress.
  • Support seamless project execution by coordinating with internal teams and third-party providers.
  • Attend industry events and represent the brand both in the UK and internationally.
About You

You’re a natural relationship-builder who thrives in a customer-facing sales environment. You’re self-driven, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering intelligent, sustainable solutions.

We’d love you to have:

  • Proven experience in B2B technical sales—lighting controls, HVAC, automation, or building tech preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of sales tools, profit margins, and risk.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels.
  • A proactive and independent approach to work, with strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
  • Based in London or the South, with flexibility to travel across the region and occasionally internationally.
Why Join Us?
  • Competitive salary + bonus + car allowance
  • Empowered, flexible work culture with a Nordic touch
  • Focus on employee wellbeing (Wellbeing Day + weekly Empower Hour)
  • Strong internal mobility and development opportunities
  • Mid-sized, collaborative company where your voice matters
  • Average tenure of 8+ years—double the industry average
  • Continuous learning culture, supported by a modern learning platform
  • Inclusive, feedback-driven work environment
