Job Title: Specification Sales Engineer - Lighting

Industry Sector: Architectural Lighting, Indoor Lighting, Outdoor Lighting, Electrical Engineers, Architects, Consulting Engineers, A&D, Lighting Designers, M&E Consultants, Interior Designers, Landscape Designers, Specification Sales, Specification Sales Manager, Electrical Products, Lighting

Area to be covered: North West

Remuneration: £40,000-£65,000 + £5,000-£15,000 bonus (1% of sales)

The role of the Lighting Specification Sales Engineer will involve:

1. Field sales role, promoting a range of architectural indoor and outdoor lighting
2. Specification sales led role, winning projects and influence within electrical engineers, architects, consulting engineers, A&D, lighting designers, M&E consultants, interior designers and landscape designers
3. Following up on leads via Barber ABI as well as managing projects
4. Project sizes up to £1m
5. Managing a CRM database of contacts but most business/projects will be new
6. Targeting prestigious commercial projects and also high street retailers

The ideal applicant will be a Lighting Specification Sales Engineer with:

1. Ideally working for an architectural lighting competitor
2. Open to any electrical specification sales experience, product training will be provided
3. Technically minded
4. Contacts within interior designers, electrical engineers, M&E consultants may be advantageous
5. Daily access to London
6. Proactive approach
7. Hard working, tenacious with good business acumen
