Specification Sales Manager – Manchester / North

Based: Commutable to Manchester

Area to be covered: North M62 Corridor – Birmingham

Remuneration: Basic Salary: £50 - £60k (Dep on Experience) + Bonus (Approx. 10% of salary) + Car Allowance / Healthcare / Private Pension / Mobile & Laptop

Leading UK Manufacturer of high end Glazed Partitions & Architectural Glazing with a wide ranging range of bespoke products.

ROLE:

• Manchester based A&D sales manager with responsibility for securing specifications within the busy Architecture & Design community.
• Focussed on sales of the company's full product range including: Glass Partitions, Frameless Glazing, Low Carbon Aluminium Systems, Fire Rated Glazing systems, Meeting Rooms and Architectural Glazing systems.
• Working across a range of end user market sectors including Workspace, Higher Education, and Healthcare sectors.
• You will be responsible for ‘pre-construction’ securing specifications with Architects & Interior Designers.
• Work in conjunction with the ‘contracts’ delivery teams who will take projects from tender to completion.
• Utilise the support of the sales and estimating / technical support teams who will assist with technical aspects of projects and delivering quotes.
• Take on incoming enquiries and manage existing relationships within the territory.
• Utilise the team for generating new enquiries.
• Be a beacon for the company's reputation for high quality service and quality manufacturing.

PERSON:

• You will be a proven Specification / A&D Sales manager with a demonstrable track record of securing specifications with top tier A&D clients.
• A strong client base of A&D clients in Manchester / Leeds / Sheffield and ideally London.
• Experienced or has the capacity to be involved with a technical / Interior Architectural product offering such as: Glass Partitions / Ceilings / Acoustic Panels / Interior Cladding / Fixed Furniture / Architectural Glazing or have the technical capacity to deal with technical & aesthetic product offerings.
• Capable of managing a large project bank of work.
• Crucially, you must enjoy working with and utilising the support of a team.
• A track record of working with a high value project pipeline.
• A strong relationship builder capable of engaging with clients of all levels.
