Job summary

Chaucer Underwriting Services Limited is seeking a Specialty Associate Analyst within the Exposure Management function in London. The role focuses on Political Violence & Political/Credit Risk and expands to other Specialty classes, providing risk modelling services through data management of exposures to support underwriting and risk appetite.

You will capture, cleanse and import exposures into Exposure Management tools, ensuring data completeness and accuracy while aiding process improvements

Qualifications

• Essential Knowledge of Exposure Management.
• Understanding of the London Insurance Market and fundamental insurance concepts.
• Desirable experience in risk modelling and loss quantification.
• SQL and Power BI advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex slip terms and conditions, capturing exposures for catastrophe modelling and aggregation systems.
• Review underwriting submissions and liaise with brokers and underwriters to obtain data for risk analysis.
• Produce management information and analytical reports for the Specialty classes to monitor exposures.
