Job Title: Specialty Dr in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry

Grade: Specialty Dr

Location: Coventry, Warwickshire

Working Hours: 40 hours

Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Learning Disabilities Psychiatry to join our NHS client’s in-patient team in Coventry, Warwickshire. This locum position offers an immediate start for a short-term contract, providing a fantastic opportunity for a passionate professional to bring their expertise to a supportive and collaborative environment.

What will your responsibilities be?

As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. You will evaluate patients to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments, you will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals. You will be responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • You must have a full GMC license to practice.
  • Section 12 approval.
