Job Title: Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry (Inpatients)

Department: Royal Edinburgh Hospital

Base: Inpatient Wards, Royal Edinburgh Building, Royal Edinburgh Hospital

Entry Criteria for a Specialty Doctor:

  • Full registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • Completion of at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or equivalent) with at least two years in a specialty training program or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT).

or

  • Equivalent training, experience, or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.

This is a full-time (10 sessions) post; NHS Lothian supports flexible working arrangements. Candidates wishing to work less than full-time should contact the specified consultants to discuss options.
