Job Title: Specialty Dr in Forensic Psychiatry
Grade: Specialty Dr
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Working Hours:40
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Forensic Psychiatry work full time hours per week for our client’s team based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

The role requires a strong presence on the ward, participation in daily handover meetings, and involvement in ward rounds, care program approach meetings, and unit governance meetings. Responsibilities include assessing new referrals to the unit, providing evidence at tribunals, and preparing reports. The position also involves duties related to the three forensic beds on Mulberry Ward. Additionally, there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to engage in outpatient work within the community forensic service. The medical team includes training grade doctors (CT and ST).

Qualifications and Experiences:

• You must have a full GMC license to practice
• Proven experience in relevant field
