We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time hours per week for our NHS client based in Dunfermline, Fife. This is a Community Mental Health (CMHT) role. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start from immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Specialty Dr in Adult Psychiatry your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. You will evaluate adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments, you will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
You will be responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals. You will adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally, you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.
