Specialty Doctor in Trauma and Orthopaedics (Upper Limb)
Position: Fixed Term - 12 months
Working Hours: 10 PA’s
The Trauma and Orthopaedic Department at St Mary’s Hospital is seeking a highly motivated Specialty Doctor for an initial twelve-month period, with potential review. The successful candidate will join the middle grade on-call rota for Trauma.

The successful candidate will work alongside one or two consultants, gaining exposure to a wide range of elective and trauma surgeries. The department is involved in audit and research, with opportunities for participation.
The post involves a non-resident 1:7 on-call commitment to support junior staff.
The Orthopaedic Department provides integrated services, including inpatient wards, a day-case unit, theatres, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, x-ray, and outpatient facilities.
