Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialty Doctor in ophthalmology to work across two sites, Royal Hampshire County Hospital and North Hampshire Hospital. The role focuses on outpatient clinics and emergency eye care, with a named consultant for case discussion and supervision.

You will support teaching, contribute to clinical audits and participate in educational activities across the Trust. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise is required.

Job description

This Specialty Doctor post in ophthalmology sits within Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and runs across two sites, Royal Hampshire County Hospital and North Hampshire Hospital. The work centres on outpatient clinics for new and follow-up eye patients, and the emergency eye clinic. It is a full-time role with a named consultant available for case presentation and support, alongside clinical audit and teaching.
