Job Description:

Cpl UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is seeking an experienced Old Age Specialty Doctor for inpatient ward work in Barrow in Furness.

The role involves assessing patients referred to the service both in clinic and on the ward, providing mental health care including prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medications, addressing physical health needs with support from clinical practitioners, GPs, and junior doctors, and contributing to discharge processes such as outpatient letters, discharge summaries, and medication prescribing (performed by junior doctors).

This position is suitable for those with psychiatry experience or general practitioners with an ongoing interest in old age psychiatry.
