Job summary

Priory Hospital North London is seeking a Speciality Doctor to join our team at Southgate, London. This site-based role runs Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, 37.5 hours per week, delivering high-quality psychiatric and physical healthcare to adult inpatients.

You will work alongside Consultant Psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to assess, treat and support recovery in a safe, supportive environment. MBBS with GMC licence required; S12/MRCPsych would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with GMC licence to practise.
• Full GMC registration in good standing and active practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric and medical care to adult inpatients.
• Conduct assessments, medical clerking, risk assessments and health reviews.
• Prescribe and reconcile psychiatric and physical health medications.
• Participate in ward rounds, MDT reviews and CPA meetings.
• Coordinate with GPs, hospitals and community teams for integrated care.
