Job description

Specialty Doctor in Respiratory (with a view to CESR)

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic colleague to join the Respiratory & Acute Medicine teams as a Specialty Doctor. The role provides a path to develop skills & competencies towards a CESR, with potential to join the Respiratory Consultant team in the future.

'WVT has a higher than national average success rate for CESR / Portfolio Pathway registration of SAS doctors. This is primarily due to our bespoke CESR / Portfolio Pathway ES scheme funded by the education directorate, and SAS doctors receive individual support from the SAS tutor to help with evidence collation for registration, including yearly updates at our WVT SAS conference on successful application submission.'

The Respiratory department has a strong history of supporting colleagues through CESR programs. We are pleased to advertise a third Specialty Doctor post with training opportunities at Wye Valley NHS Trust & our foundation group, including South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, & George Eliot Hospitals NHS Trust.

Flexible working options & relocation support are available, including part-time, term-time & annualised contracts. Applicants are encouraged to contact us to discuss further.
