We are seeking a motivated individual capable of leading the day-to-day operations of the CMHT, providing management and supervision to the integrated health and social care team. The successful candidate will manage both Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside Council staff.

If you are passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of people with severe and enduring mental health needs and focus on delivering safe, effective, high-quality care with support from the community services manager, we encourage your application.

Applicants should be a Registered Mental Health Practitioner (CPN, Social Worker, OT) with current registration or hold another professional registered qualification in a health or social care field, with substantial experience as a senior mental health practitioner at Band 6 or equivalent in a CMHT or similar service for clients with severe/enduring mental health issues.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for managing and supervising the Community Mental Health Team, which includes both health and social care staff, ensuring practice standards meet the policies of Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside Borough Council.
