Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking anoutstanding Specialty Doctorto join our dynamicCrisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHT) in the Mid Mersey Division. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, while working within a highly skilled and compassionate multidisciplinary team.
The CRHT operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing intensive support to service users in theleast restrictive environment. The team plays a vital role in reducing hospital admissions and supporting recovery at home.

Case allocation is done following MDT meeting appropriate criteria for referral being met.
There is an expectation that you will provide supervision to the NMP in the team and also to the junior medical staff. This will be incorporated into the job plan.

This will consist of patient reviews and home Visits to see urgent or emergency reviews for patients open to the team although the bulk of cases will be reviewed on site.
It is desirable that the post holder has Mental Health Act Section 12(2) status.
Management of complex cases and advice on patient care to other team members.
Clinical leadership of team by participating in team MDTs to discuss allocations of patients and dispense the responsibilities under that Role for such patients as per the MHA Code of Practice.
Care plan and treatment formulation, guidance on evidence-based treatment and effectiveness.
Liaison and collaborative working with other services/agencies.
Multi-disciplinary, multi-agency and partnership working.
To participate in annual appraisal for specialty doctor.
To maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council, Mental Health Act Section 12(2) approval, and to abide by professional codes of conduct.
To participate annually in a job plan review with the line manager.
To comply with the Trusts agreed policies.
