Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a full-time Specialty Doctor for the Lyndon Community Mental Health Team in Solihull.
We seek a candidate with full GMC registration, Section 12(2) approval (or eligibility), with at least 4 years of postgraduate training or equivalent, including a minimum of 2 years in Psychiatry. MRCPsych or an equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry is desirable.
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist and the wider multidisciplinary team. The Lyndon CMHT is part of the Solihull Community Hub.
Responsibilities include assessing new referrals from GPs and other referrers, making diagnoses, and formulating management plans. The team works collaboratively with various professionals, including nurses, psychologists, and physical health practitioners.
