Job Description:

We have been assigned by an NHS Teaching Trust in Yorkshire to recruit for a Specialty Doctor in Emergency Medicine with CESR Support vacancy on a permanent basis. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please contact us.

The Trust is one of the largest in Yorkshire, providing a comprehensive range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services for approximately 800,000 residents. Recent investments include a £40 million fund for capital improvements, such as a new Combined Emergency Assessment Unit, facilitating multidisciplinary staff collaboration in a single assessment area.

The Emergency Department features facilities like a 3-bay resuscitation room with pediatric cubicles, 5 assessment bays, 10 majors bays, and an Urgent Treatment Centre.

The role is mainly clinical but includes opportunities for teaching and supporting junior staff. The successful candidate will receive support for professional development, especially for those considering CESR, with desirable qualifications including MRCEM or FCEM. This is a permanent position with CESR support.
