An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team in Worcester, Worcestershire. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure comprehensive care and support for young patients. Your role will involve managing complex cases, providing specialist advice, and contributing to the development of mental health services. You will also engage with local and national networks to raise the profile of our centre and ensure all therapeutic approaches are evidence-based and effective.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Relevant medical degree and qualification in Psychiatry
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Experience working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
  • Willingness to work face-to-face with patients
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
