Pulse Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Specialty Doctor in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our client’s Emotional and Behavioural team based in Luton, Bedfordshire. This locum position is available for an immediate start on a short-term contract, offering competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
The post-holder will have the following key areas of responsibility: conducting assessments and therapeutic work with children, adolescents, and parents; undertaking examinations and ordering investigations as required; prescribing and monitoring psychotropic medication; and co-working with and consulting with other colleagues within the team. The post-holder will work under the supervision of a consultant psychiatrist and will be integral to a multidisciplinary team, accessing local activities as appropriate.
