Enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals are invited to submit an application for an established Speciality Doctor role within the Breast Unit at North Manchester General Hospital owned and managed by the Manchester Foundation Trust..
Candidates will have a strongbackground in all aspects of the speciality.
The Breast Unit has a proven track record of developing staff and has recently supported a member of the team to gain their Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) whilst there are opportunities for the successful candidate to develop a special interest in one of the areas if that is something they wish to pursue.
The post is for 40 hours per week (10PAs)
All Trust locations are within easy reach of Manchester City Centre which offers a plethora of leisure and social opportunities.
The successful candidates will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive oncoplastic breast services to patients cared for by Manchester Breast Service. The post will be based in the North Sector at North Manchester General Hospital. The posts will appeal to appropriately trained surgeons who have a proven sub-specialty interest in oncoplastic breast surgery. The appointees will have the enthusiasm to work with colleagues to develop the service in line with National guidance. The Trust is committed to continued professional development and will support the appointee within available resources.
