Job description

EPUT is seeking to appoint two compassionate and dedicated Specialty Doctor in General Adult to join our dynamic mental health team at the Tendring Specialist CMHT based at Reunion House, Clacton-on-Sea. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced consultants in delivering high quality psychiatric care across community in Clacton and Harwich area.

Tendering Specialist CMHT provides community mental services for patient referred to the secondary mental health by GP surgeries within the Neighbourhood teams in Clacton and Harwich. The team serves an adult population of around 78000. The post holder will have shared responsibility for the clinical care of those patients referred to the team and will be expected to work closely with the consultant and team manager to ensure the provision of an effective service.

You should be eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment and hold Section 12 (2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983. You will also need to provide evidence of achievement of ST1/CT1 competences in psychiatry at time of application and likelihood of achieving CT2 competences in psychiatry by the start date of the post.
