Join our leading mental health and community care service as a Specialty Doctor in General Adult Psychiatry at Colchester Specialist CMHT, Herrick House, Colchester. We are seeking two dedicated professionals to work closely with experienced consultants in delivering high-quality psychiatric care in North East Essex.
This team serves approximately 67,000 people in the Colchester area, providing community mental health services for patients referred by GPs. The team includes four Consultants, and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprises CPNS, occupational therapists, social workers, and psychologists.
You should be eligible for full GMC registration and hold Section 12(2) approval under the Mental Health Act 1983. Evidence of ST1/CT1 competencies in psychiatry at the time of application and the likelihood of achieving CT2 competencies by the start date are required.
