About the role

We are seeking a passionate and committed Specialty Doctor in Acute Integrated Medicine to join our team at Noble's Hospital on the beautifulIsle of Man, where we are aiming to become the best, small island-based health and care system.

This pivotal role is centred around providing exemplary care in general medicine, embracing the challenges and diversity of medical conditions. You will play an integral role in patient treatment, collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of care.

A competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.

Annual leave starting at 27 days and all Manx and UK bank holidays.

Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, the IOM Public Service offers two pension arrangements; the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) Arrangement.

Our on-site education and training centre, Keyll Darree, comprises a lecture theatre, well stocked medical library, training facilities and a state of the art simulation lab which is operated by trained simulation practitioners.

We recognise the need for all medical staff on the Island to maintain connections with medicine in the United Kingdom and encourage links with other units, as well as providing study leave with pay and expenses to attend approved conferences and workshops.

Ability to take an unpaid career break after 3 years’ service.

A relocation package of up to £7,000 based on receipts is available for this role. Housing Assistance is also available where the Department will pay the difference between your current mortgage/rent bill, and that of your new accommodation on the Isle of Man, up to a maximum of £250 per month.
