BEH and Camden and Islington Foundation Trust have now merged to form North London NHS Foundation Trust to collaborate and work within the North Central London integrated care board (ICB) and the general practitioner (GP) network. This aims to ensure comprehensive transformation of care for the people living in the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, and Islington. We are working with the ICB and GP network to provide effective, compassionate, and equitable care regardless of postcode within the NCL sector.
The Trust recognizes the importance of resilient childhood and is committed to providing effective, personalized, and compassionate care to young people in the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. A specific CAMHS division has been created to focus on achieving this goal.
North London NHS Foundation Trust (NLFT) is dedicated to improving mental health care across North London to deliver excellent services to our local population. Our Five-Year Strategy:
The Trust may require staff to work at different locations within Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, or Islington, and reserves the right to assign staff to other locations as necessary, on a temporary or permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a staff grade interested in working within a well-established community CAMHS team with a diverse multidisciplinary team.
This new post aims to provide timely services to young people in Haringey due to increased demand. Successful performance may lead to a permanent position. The role supports development of interests and research collaborations with the UCL CAMHS research unit led by Professor Argyris Stringaris. The postholder will be encouraged to participate in QI projects and propose new initiatives, contributing to the transformation of CAMHS services using the THRIVE principles.
All new doctors will receive mentoring from experienced consultants, and the specialty doctor will be invited to join the local CPD/Peer support group. The post also offers a pathway to CESR for consultant accreditation.
This post requires a DBS check due to its nature under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1975.
