Job Description:

Cpl UK Healthcare (formerly RIG Locums) is currently looking for a General Adult / Forensic Specialty doctor, NHS based in Dartford, Kent. The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic, highly motivated Specialty Doctor to work in their 13-bed low secure unit for women. This part-time position is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in forensic psychiatry and develop clinical skills in a supportive environment. The clinic is supported by a full MDT, including social work, occupational therapy, and psychology.

Key Responsibilities:

• The postholder will manage half the clinic caseload under supervision from the Consultant Psychiatrist.
• They will prepare reports for CPA and Tribunals, liaise with external agencies, and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care.
• If working with community patients, the postholder will adopt a Responsible Clinician role (supervised by the consultant forensic psychiatrist and RC), leading medical management decisions, liaising with agencies like MAPPA, and providing Tribunal reports.
