Are you a Specialty Doctor with a passion for mental health and eating disorders? We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected independent healthcare provider for aSpecialty Grade Doctorto join a dedicated eating disorder unit in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment with no on-call duties, excellent CPD support, and clear pathways for career progression.

About the Service
This specialist unit is part of a large mental health hospital offering a range of services including CAMHS, acute, PICU, and rehabilitation. The eating disorder service supports patients with complex needs, often including co-morbidities such as anxiety, depression, and personality disorders.

Your Role as Specialty Doctor

• Provide high-quality psychiatric care under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist.
• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.
• Participate in assessments, treatment planning, and clinical reviews.
• Contribute to a positive, therapeutic environment and evidence-based practice.
• Engage in regular supervision and peer support within a strong medical team.

What We’re Looking For

• GMC registration with a licence to practise (essential).
• Substantive experience in psychiatry.
• Section 12 approval and MRCPsych (desirable).
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamworking skills.
• Interest in eating disorders and complex mental health presentations.
