The Hertfordshire Community Perinatal Team is a specialist multi-disciplinary team that supports women who are experiencing, or are at high risk of experiencing, moderate to severe mental health difficulties when they are pregnant and after having their baby.

The service aims to help women stay as well as possible in the perinatal period and provide support and information to partners, families and professionals involved in their care.

Job description

The Hertfordshire Community Perinatal Team is a specialist multi-disciplinary team that supports women who are experiencing, or are at high risk of experiencing, moderate to severe mental health difficulties when they are pregnant and after having their baby. The service aims to help women stay as well as possible in the perinatal period and provide support and information to partners, families and professionals involved in their care.

It is envisaged that the post holder will work 8 programmed activities over 4 days. Following appointment there will be a meeting at no later than three months with the clinical manager to review and revise the job plan and objectives of the post holder. The overall split of the programmed activities is 7.7 to be devoted to direct clinical care and 0.3 to supporting professional activities
