Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality psychiatric assessments, treatment, and interventions within the inpatient team.
  2. Work collaboratively with colleagues and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
  3. Participate in team discussions, treatment planning, and risk assessments.
  4. Engage with patients, carers, and families to provide holistic, person-centred care.
  5. Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
  6. Provide cross cover to colleagues as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships.
  8. Challenge poor practice and demonstrate leadership qualities.

Note: There are no on-call commitments.

Minimum Requirements
  • Medical degree and relevant psychiatric qualifications.
  • Experience in mental health and psychiatric treatment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and compassionate leadership.
