Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated full-time Specialty Doctor to join the Women’s Directorate of West London Forensic Services, based at The Orchard, St Bernard’s Hospital, Ealing.

Salary: £59,175 - £95,400 per annum plus London Zone Weighting.

You will join a well-established multidisciplinary team providing care across two wards. These wards are commissioned to care for women with mental disorders requiring treatment in medium security conditions. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a consultant forensic psychiatrist to deliver effective, responsive, caring, and safe treatment for women.

Your responsibilities include, alongside the Responsible Clinician, providing frontline mental health assessment and care. This includes attending ward rounds, CPA meetings, community meetings, and engaging in reflective practice. There will also be opportunities to provide written and oral evidence for courts and tribunals.
