• MRCPsych Paper A/B or full qualification is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills within a psychiatric healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and urgent psychiatric evaluations, mental state examinations, and risk assessments for adult service users.
• Provide daily medical care to inpatients or community clients, including physical health monitoring and routine medication reviews.
• Formulate and adjust psychotropic medication regimes under supervision of the lead Consultant Psychiatrist.
• Prepare detailed clinical reports for CPA meetings, tribunals, and multi-agency care reviews.
• Participate in routine medical handovers, MDT meetings, and departmental clinical audits.
• Deliver empathetic, patient-centered care while working closely with families, carers, and community nursing teams.
