Job summary

Integrated Care System is seeking a qualified medical professional to join their team in Reading. The role involves providing essential care for patients with life-limiting conditions and working as part of a dedicated healthcare team. Prospective candidates should have full GMC registration and substantial postgraduate training. Qualifications

  • Hold full GMC registration.
  • Have completed the equivalent of four years full-time postgraduate training, at least two of which are in a related specialty.
  • Hold a current UK driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist medical care, managing pain and symptoms.
  • Support patients and their families through end-of-life care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

With travel to Duchess of Kent Hospice RG30 2DX & South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub OX10 6SL

4 PAs & 1.2 PA On-call

£59,175 per annum, pro rata plus supplement for on call

About us

Sue Ryder South East Region, We support people aged 18 and over who are living with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, heart failure and lung disease.

Our team of Sue Ryder Nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and befrienders combine specialist medical care for managing pain and other symptoms, with emotional, practical and spiritual support. Our wellbeing and community support team are here to listen too. We provide a Hospice at Home service, day hospice, and a care coordination and advice line.
