Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd is seeking a Specialist Engineer to service and repair equipment across customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance, and ensure devices meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

You will install, deliver and repair equipment at user premises, maintain accurate service records, and provide professional technical support. A full driving licence and willingness to travel are essential, along with a proactive,

Responsibilities

  • Assess, inspect, service, and repair equipment in accordance with procedures and manufacturer specs.

  • Receive, process, update and confirm work orders using computer systems.
  • Install, deliver, service and repair equipment at customer premises.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Provide professional and courteous technical support.

About the role

As the Specialist Engineer for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will be responsible for assessing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability

  • Assess, inspect, service, and repair equipment in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Receive, process, update, and confirm work orders using computer-based systems.
  • Install, deliver, service, and repair equipment at customer premises.
  • Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer support, answering technical queries where required.
  • Work independently to manage assigned tasks and service visits.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts required for service and repair activitie

Qualifications and experience required
  • Full, valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required. Will have access to a company Van
  • Ability to work safely and follow established procedures.
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work.
