Job summary

Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd is hiring a Technician Team Leader to drive performance and quality within a field-based technical team. You will plan workloads, coordinate with service leaders, and implement process improvements to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

You will lead recruitment, onboarding and training for the team, and collaborate with senior management to ensure patient-focused service across contracts in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Key Performance & Quality Indicators.
  • Plan daily and weekly workloads effectively.
  • Coordinate with Service & Warehouse Leadership on workload planning.
  • Identify effective and efficient improvements.
  • Oversee end-to-end de-brief processes.
  • Review quality performance with Operations Support manager and drive better outcomes.
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure Enhanced TSE onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Support contract senior management and field colleagues in patient-focused service delivery.

Hours: 37.5 - 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £28,762.00 - £32,600.00 per annum

As the Technician Team Leader for Medequip Assistive Technology Ltd you will be an integral part of the leadership team in delivering excellence in quality and service

You will be responsible for delivering an effective and quality focused service through a team of technical colleagues in the field

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Delivery of Key Performance & Quality Indicators
  • Effectively plan daily and weekly workloads
  • Integration with Service & Warehouse Leadership on workload planning
  • Identify effective and efficient improvements.
  • Understand and manage end to end de brief processes.
  • Review quality performance with Operations Support manager and deliver “better outcomes” project.
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Ensure enhanced team members (Enhanced TSE) are delivering correct onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Supporting contract senior management team, Equivalent line managers and Field Colleagues in delivering patient focused service
