About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the evolution of autonomous motorsports.

The role is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility with work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Lead setup, maintenance, and track-side operations of autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
• Mechanical Excellence: Perform mechanical maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly, ensuring safety and performance.

Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and real-time adjustments.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.

Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.

Safety Stewardship: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
• Electronics Competency: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with MoTeC experience.
• Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
• Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation in racing.
• Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License
