About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and autonomous motorsports evolution.
The role is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, pit stops, fueling, and setup adjustments.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.
Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop for vehicle prep and maintenance.
Safety Stewardship: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and optimization.
Electronics Competency: Knowledge of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and MoTeC systems.
Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a racing environment demonstrating capability and understanding of motorsport dynamics.
Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation in racing environments.
Collaborative Spirit: Team player with good communication skills.
Valid Driver's License
