About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our ambitious team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on individual who thrives in the high-energy world of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and the evolution of autonomous motorsports.
The position will be based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel to support testing sessions and racing events. Flexibility in work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops, fueling, and setup adjustments.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport logistics across Europe and internationally, collaborating with the Technical Director.
Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop environment for vehicle prep and maintenance.
Safety Stewardship: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mechanical Mastery: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
Electronics Competency: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems such as steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with MoTeC experience.
Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years of professional racing experience demonstrating capability and understanding of motorsport dynamics.
Technical Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering or related field.
Adaptable Mindset: Interest in autonomous driving technologies and eagerness to innovate in sports and racing environments.
Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with excellent communication skills for tackling complex challenges.
