About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our ambitious team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who thrives in high-energy racing environments and is interested in autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will impact our performance on the track and contribute to autonomous motorsports evolution.

The position is based in Doncaster, UK, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility in work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vehicle Management: Set up, maintain, and operate autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles at the track.
  2. Mechanical Maintenance: Perform precise mechanical tasks, including disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly, ensuring safety and performance standards.
  3. Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during live sessions, including pit stops and real-time adjustments.
  4. Logistics: Coordinate vehicle transport across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.
  5. Workshop Management: Maintain an organized workshop for vehicle preparation and maintenance.
  6. Safety: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension tuning, tire management, and optimization.
  2. Electronics Skills: Understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, with experience in MoTeC systems.
  3. Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.
  4. Educational Qualification: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.
  5. Adaptability: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.
  6. Team Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  7. Driver’s License: Valid driving license.
