About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Specialized Technician to join our team. This full-time role is perfect for a hands-on individual who enjoys working in the high-energy environment of racing and autonomous vehicle technology. Your expertise will influence our performance on the track and the development of autonomous motorsports.

The position is based in Sint-Truiden, Belgium, with frequent international travel for testing and racing events. Flexibility with work hours, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Setup, maintain, and operate autonomous race cars and high-performance electric vehicles.
• Mechanical Excellence: Perform mechanical maintenance, including disassembly, inspection, optimization, and reassembly to ensure safety and performance.

Dynamic Track Operations: Manage vehicle operations during races, including pit stops and real-time adjustments.

Logistics Coordination: Oversee vehicle transport across Europe and internationally, working with the Technical Director.

Workshop Leadership: Maintain an organized workshop for vehicle prep and maintenance.

Safety Stewardship: Follow safety regulations, flag protocols, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of high-performance vehicle systems, suspension, tires, and tuning.

Electronics Skills: Basic understanding of advanced electronic systems like steer-by-wire and MoTeC systems.

Motorsport Experience: At least 3 years in a professional racing environment.

Technical Education: Diploma or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering.

Adaptability: Interest in autonomous driving tech and innovation.

Teamwork: Good communication skills and collaborative attitude.

Driver's License: Valid license required.
