About the Role

At Workday, our Specialized Account Executives are key members of our Field Sales organization. They focus on net new revenue, driving growth for Workday's Specialized Products (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Scout, HiredScore, and Peakon). They guide new customers to adopt our enterprise management cloud, moving beyond legacy platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing short-term strategies aligned with customer objectives, and building long-term relationships.
  • Managing relationships with customers and channel partners, focusing on deal management and connecting customer needs with Workday solutions.
  • Collaborating with Net New and Customer Base AEs to identify sales opportunities within existing specialized product customers.
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecast data.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud solutions to C-level executives in a field sales role.
  • Experience managing sales cycles of 9+ months, including prospecting.
  • Experience in account planning and stakeholder alignment.
  • Experience with HR Technology and talent acquisition.

Other Qualifications

  • Understanding of industry trends and customer needs to effectively position Workday solutions.
  • Deep product knowledge and industry awareness.
  • Collaboration skills for account strategies and territory management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage with senior executives.
  • Experience selling to Large Enterprise / Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, adaptable, and inquisitive.
  • Goal-oriented with a history of over-performance.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
