Job description

The Respiratory team at St Richards Hospital is seeking a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Speciality Coordinator to join their team. The role involves managing a comprehensive administrative service for Consultants and medical staff.

Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the first point of contact for service users.
  2. Monitor inpatient and outpatient commitments of the consultant and medical team, escalating issues when appropriate.
  3. Coordinate and allocate work within the admin team to ensure effective and efficient operation of the administrative functions.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues, patients, and medical staff.
  • Previous secretarial/administration experience and excellent audio typing skills.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to work as part of a busy but supportive team.
