Working for our organisation

Our vision is to provide outstanding care for every patient. Patient care is central to our work across our three sites: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, and Andover War Memorial Hospital. Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers medical and surgical services to approximately 600,000 people across Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire.

Our cultural ambition is to foster a culture that values people, promotes belonging, and encourages learning, improvement, and excellence.

We provide specialist services nationally and internationally. Notably, we are one of only two UK centres treating pseudomyxoma peritonei and are leaders in tertiary liver and colorectal cancers.

The trust employs over 9,000 staff with an annual turnover exceeding £500 million. As a Foundation Trust, we are directly accountable to our members through elected governors, who represent their constituencies and influence our future plans.
