Job summary

An educational service provider is looking for an SEN Tutor in Middlesbrough to support students with special educational needs. The position requires experience with SEN and offers competitive pay, around £20-£30 an hour for approximately 15 hours weekly. About the Role

Connex Education seeks an ambitious SEN tutor for Middlesbrough Local Authority. You will be supporting students with special educational needs and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

This role suits educators seeking meaningful work in an engaging environment, supporting vulnerable young people who need specialised academic assistance. The position offers competitive pay while providing essential educational support to students with diverse learning needs.

School/Organisation

The school serves pupils with diverse educational needs and learning difficulties who are performing below their expected age level, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges.

Assignment Details
  • About 15 hours weekly (3 hours daily, Monday-Friday)
  • 1:1 support for KS3/4 students at central venue
  • Long-term position following outreach curriculum
  • Serves pupils with learning difficulties functioning below age expectations
  • Experience with SEND/SEMH students
  • Based in Middlesbrough or surrounding areas
