Location: TwickenhamHours: Full-Time (Term Time Only)Pay: M1 - M3 (may consider M4 - M6)Are you a passionate, resilient, and dedicated educator looking to make a profound difference in the lives of young people facing barriers to education?We are partnering with a fantastic SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision in Twickenham, commissioned by the Local Authority to support students who are temporarily disengaged from mainstream education. These pupils may be out of school due to medical needs, complex emotional and social difficulties, or experiences of trauma and abuse.About the Role:From September 2025, we are launching a brand-new provision and are seeking an experienced and adaptable Alternative Provision Teacher to lead a small cohort of KS3/KS4 students.You will:Deliver and oversee a broad, accessible curriculum including core subjects (English and Maths) and wider learning opportunities tailored to students working significantly below age-related expectations.Work closely with behaviour support specialists to create a safe, therapeutic learning environment that nurtures trust, engagement, and progress.Be part of a multidisciplinary team that places the emotional wellbeing and individual needs of each pupil at the heart of everything.What it Takes:Experience supporting pupils with Autism, SEMH needs, and complex emotional profiles is essential.A deep understanding of trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice, and the ability to build strong, consistent relationships.Flexibility, creativity, and a sense of humour – the journey won’t be linear, but it will be rewarding.A genuine belief in the potential of every young person, regardless of their starting point.This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative, nurturing provision that gives students a chance to reconnect with learning and begin to thrive again.You must have:If you're ready to lead with empathy, structure, and purpose – and want to be part of something truly impactful – we’d love to hear from you.
