Specialist Support Worker Complex Needs Cleethorpes

Are you a passionate Specialist Support Worker looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Specialist Support Worker to work within the complex needs services based in Cleethorpes.

Pay Rates: GBP15.83

Information on the Role: Successful candidates will be responsible for empowering individuals with learning disabilities, enduring mental ill health, autism, and other complex needs.

What you will be doing:

  1. Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and choices, considering their assessed needs and individual support and care plans, participating in the development of plans where applicable.
  2. Support individuals to stay safe, taking appropriate action to safeguard their welfare and protect them from abuse wherever possible.
  3. Provide emotional support when needed, maintaining a person-centred approach.
  4. Support service users to participate in social activities and services in their community, manage their finances and medication responsibly, assist with practical tasks around the home, and support with personal care, hygiene, and healthcare.
  5. Serve as an informal point of contact for those in the service users' support circle (e.g., families and social workers).
  6. Accurately report and record any issues related to the care and support of service users to monitor their health and wellbeing.
  7. Comply with health and safety regulations and prioritize the health, safety, and welfare of others.
  8. Form appropriate relationships with those cared for while maintaining professional boundaries.
  9. Work within organisational policies, procedures, and guidance.
  10. Demonstrate the organisation's values and behaviours in your work.
