We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Specialist Support Worker to join our Mental Health service in Tower Hamlets.
£28,500.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week. Benefits include 25 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

The Barnsley Street Project is a pilot service funded by NHS money following a bid by East London NHS Foundation Trust. It will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide support for people in the catchment area of one primary care network in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets. It will provide a variety of psychosocial and clinical interventions, including the provision of 6 Hospitality Beds for short term support and intervention.
Specialist Support Workers within the Barnsley Street Project will be expected to support individuals requiring assistance from the local community who walk in to the service. This support may include providing practical, emotional, trauma-informed support to individuals with various challenges relating to their mental health.
All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as Look Ahead are not able to offer sponsorship.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent with some relevant sector work experience.
Desirable:
- Demonstrable specialist knowledge in an area relevant to the service's customer group.
