Specialist Support Tutor

Full-time, 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri Term time only

We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Inclusive Learning Tutor to join a supportive team in a specialist education setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting learners with EHCPs, ensuring their needs are met and that they are making positive progress towards their outcomes. You’ll be responsible for the educational progress of both post-16 and external pre-16 learners through effective teaching and learning strategies.

You’ll need:

  • A Level 2 qualification in English and maths
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience in developing, delivering, and coordinating learning programmes for post-16 learners (desirable)
  • DBS or willingness to apply for one
  • Experience and understanding of working with young adults with SEN and/or SEMH needs
