Job summary

Pulse Healthcare in London is seeking a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our adult neuro rehab team on a one-year fixed-term basis. The role is Band 6, full-time (37.5 hours) with potential extension.

You will assess and treat adults with neurological conditions, develop individualised plans, work with a multidisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families. HCPC registered required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the HCPC.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, with significant experience in adult neuro rehabilitation.
• Skills: Excellent communication, assessment, and therapeutic skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of neurological conditions and their impact on communication and swallowing.
• Attributes: Compassionate, patient-centered approach, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
